Creative Karma Visual Art Exhibition 2017

Creative Karma Art Exhibition 2017 was organized by Shanky Studio, which was held at Beant Singh Memorial Libraty, Sector 42, Chandigarh, India, on 21 and 22 January 2017. Objective of this exhibition was to provide effective platform and give exposure to budding artists, at no-profit-no-loss basis.

Participants

Twenty Seven Artists ages ranging from 8 to 52 years, from Tricity, Punjab, Haryana Jammu and Nanital participated in the Art Exhibition and displayed over 175 artworks. Participants were Aaryaman Anand, Aditi Mohindra, Anaadya Aggarwal, Bhavika, Harjeet Kaur, Ishita Anand, Guntas, Harkanwal Singh, Kanika Sud, Karan, Kirandeep Kaur, Kirti Grover, Kumud Goel, Lakhbir Kaur, Rudraksh, Radheykesh, Sajal Dweep Singh Sodhi, Shama, Shruti Thankur, Shubhika Tandon, Simrandeep Kaur, Sonika, Ssonam, Surinder Shanker Anand, Dr Vandana, Varun Tandon and Winky Kaur. Response to the exhibition was overwhelming and over 750+ art lovers visited the art exhibition just in 2 days!

Inaguration

The art exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Madan Lal, Vice Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy. Shri Parveen Khurana, State Librarian, presided over the inauguration ceremony. Chief Guest was kind enough to review the exhibits and gave invaluable technical inputs to the participants. Renouned Collage Artist, Shri Mohinder Tuli Sir, also visited the Art Exhibition and interacted with individual artists. Mrs. Anu Kumar, Principal of Stepping Stones Senior Secondary school, visited the exhibition and appreciated the artwork of budding artists. Famous cyclist, Dr. Rakesh Mohindra, the head librarian of the Law Faculty, who did 4,500 km cycling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, under Swach Bharat Abhiyan, also visited this event.
